Royal Artillery Waist Belt Clasp (WBC), Fire Gilt Set, King's Crown

A gorgeous full dress belt clasp in three parts.
Two oval gilt seeded plates with raised burnished edges and plain belt loops; each bearing gilt facing Royal Crests and joined together by a snake hook fastening inscribed "UBIQUE". King's crown so post 1901 - 1952. In near mint condition, they do not come better than this!

Of two part construcion with two original loops to reverse. This is in excellent condition and has a real quality to it. No damage to enamel and maker marked Ludlow, London. Quite a hard badge to find as worn for two years only between 1947 and 1949, so post WW2.

The neck of grenade has sprung loose from the flames, but looks ok from front. Some wear to gilt on ball of grenade from service wear. All four original loops. Condition reflected in price. No returns on this item.
