Green Howards (Alexandra Princess of Wales's Own ( Yorkshire Regiment)) Officers Bullion Cap Badge - Type 1

A pre 1952 example, silver and gold wire embroidered with coloured silks, in issued condition. Only a small amount of black paper backing remains to the reverse. In good overall worn condition and colours bright. This pattern was worn from 1902. Circa 5.8cms tall including the green felt backing.

A large three part construction cap star, die struck and silver plated with enamel to strap and centre cross in very good condition. Two original loops to reverse. . An example with a bit of age to it. Circa xx cms across. Harder to find than the elongated officer's patterns.

The Worcestershire Regiment Officers OSB Bronze Cap Badge, 1902 - 1923

A die cast bronze voided cap badge comprising a star and with a circular garter enclosing a lion. A scroll inscribed "FIRM" on the lower part of the star and and larger scroll inscribed "Worcestershire" below. Two original blades to the reverse. Circa 5.3cms wide and 4.2cms tall. Good colour with and in very good condition. Scarce.

A collar sized cap badge with two very long loops and of two part riveted construction, marked 'P' for silver plate and maker marked JR Gaunt London. The gilt now polished back to the brass. Blue enamel to centre looks a bit dusty but appears intact. Scarce.
