A gilt plate, which has been professionally and contemporaneously adapted from a QVC example with a replacement King's Crown (some wear to gilt finish where this has been applied). Die cast with an applied bronze finish and two original blades to reverse, closed and one with point sticking up slightly, would not recommend opening these. Possibly a WW1 war time production. This pattern worn 1902 - 1925.
Also worn by the officers of the 22nd and 24th Battalions of The London Regiment.
