A very fine looking cap badge of two part construction with two original long silvered loops to the reverse. Red velvet backing to crown with the Hampshire Rose in red enamel to the centre of a Garter Strap and title scroll in blue enamel, all mounted upon a multi-rayed and faceted star. In very good condition, a silver and gold wire embroidered example with coloured silks, probably unissued. This pattern from 1970 onwards as it incorporates the Roman Numerals XIX in the design. Circa 5.5cms tall including the dark green backing cloth.
