The Sherwood Foresters ( The Derbyshire Regiment ) Bi-Metal Glengarry Badge, circa 1881 - 1896
A large and attractive two piece die struck badge with two original black toned long loops and in excellent condition. In 1904 the title was altered to read 'Notts and Derby'. This design as also worn on the helmet plate (for something close see K&K Vol 1 no 259). Circa 5cm square. Badges like this were worn 1881 - 1896 on the Glengarry.
