Circa 20mm in diameter, floating shank, back-marked H Gill and Whitehouse Ltd, B'ham (Birmingham). Scarce maker. I believe this is a GPO button but happy to be corrected.

Attention all Beekeepers! Set of 7 Bronze Livery Buttons - Attractive Bee Hive Design, by Bellerby of London

An attractive set of seven bronze buttons, great for both those interested in interesting designs and also those who keep bees! Circa 26mm in diameter, open backed convex shape with fixed shanks, maker marked Bellerby of London. Some age to them, odd sign mark but does not detract from this lovely set of buttons.

Pair of Large Pattern Flat Hunt Buttons - Duke of Beaufort 's Hunt ( Gloucestershire )

Each circa 22mm in diameter, with fixed shanks. Maker marked Jennens & Co London ( with PoW feathers). One shank bent over but still functional. Gilt remaining to reverse only. Decorative engraving with two entwined letters ' BH '. Believed to have been worn by hunt servants on the traditional green coat as well as on the red hunting jacket. Some minor staining.

Pair of small /medium pattern Cuff Gilt Hunt Buttons - Roman Foxhounds

Each circa 16mm in diameter, with fixed shanks. Maker marked to the reverse - hard to make out - but can definitely decipher ... & Sons, London. A fox in full cry with the entwined letters CR below. Gilt in reasonable condition with some staining, one lug is slightly bent over,

Pair of Victorian Large Pattern Gilt / Brass Hunt Buttons - South Herefordshire Hunt

Circa 22mm in diameter, with shanks to the reverse. Each maker marked Pitt & Co, 50 St Martin 's Lane ( in London ). This was the address from which Pitt & Co operated between 1875 and 1895. A fox head with three entwined letters below - SHH. Some verdigris to buttons but generally good condition.

A gilt semi-flat button circa 24mm in diameter, Georgian high winged crown, with ornate letters RFYC below and a maltese cross below that. Maker's name on reverse is Armfield & Co, Birmingham. Some age wear but gilt still bright. Circa 23mm in diameter.

Standard issue Tram Uniform Large Pattern White Metal Button

Many different operators issued the standard British Electric Traction Company pattern button to their staff. Gateshead is a good example if you have ever seen this design on the trams at Beamish open-air museum. Sew on type so no shank needed. Maker marked. Circa 24mm in diameter.
