Four different patterns, large (26mm) and medium (19mm) pattern anodised gold colour buttons, fixed shanks and maker marked Buttons Ltd, Birmingham, an officer's small gilt mess dress button (15mm in diameter), open backed, fixed shank and maker marked Jennens & Co, London (dates it to pre 1924), and finally a medium pattern anodised silver button (16mm), fixed shank and maker marked Firmin London.
Circa 15mm in diameter, flat button with fixed shank, maker marked Firmins Ld, London. Attractively engraved to front. In very good condition. Pre 1922.
A pair of 2 part construction mounted buttons with KRIH monogram and roman numerals VIII below. This pattern only worn by officers. Medium button circa 19mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Jennens & Co London (dates this to pre 1924) and the smaller cap button is circa 13mm in diameter, fixed shank and maker marked Pitt & Co London. Both heavily polished by an over eager batman. Scarce.
Circa 21mm in diameter, floating shank, back-marked Smith & Wright, Birmingham. Victorian crown, in very good condition. 1897 - 1902 only.

Silver plated, with plate in very good condition. Fixed shank, maker marked Pitt & Co, Maddox St, London to reverse. Circa 19mm in diameter. Some minor marks. Flat topped Victorian crown dates it to pre-1902.
White metal, fixed shank and with the words Made in England to the reverse. Circa 18mm in diameter. King's crown so 1902 - 1952. In very good condition.
