Stamped Sterling to reverse. Original pin fittings, fully functional. Circa 4.5cms tall. Simply gorgeous.

This is a bit shorter and taller than the Gaunt version (as listed as my item 65892). In good condition (some black marks to Letter "R", with two original loops (some twisting but fully functional). Circa 5.3cms wide and 1.5cms tall. No maker marks to reverse. Scarce.

WW1 Canada, 187th Infantry Battalion (Central Alberta) CEF Officer's Cap Badge
Three-piece construction, "187" designation and "CANADA" ribbon banner in white metal, mounted to blackened copper base, voided, maker marked on the reverse to left of right lug but I cannot make this out. Circa 46.8 mm (w) x 47.5 mm (h), both lugs intact, scattered wear in the blackened finish, some twisting to lugs otherwise in good condition.
