Unissued example with all original finish and almost no distortion. Good blades to the rear. As usual with Argyll examples, no maker mark. As nice as they come. Made from cellulose acetate plastic. Sometimes incorrectly described as Bakelite.

An early bi-coloured anodised (staybrite) cap badge of two-part riveted construction to the TA units of The Queen's Royal Surrey Regiment. Original slider maker marked J R Gaunt, London. There appears to be an erasure of owner's name to reverse otherwise in good overall condition.
