WW2 Royal Marine Commando Cap Badge with Escape Compass in Globe
A nice find with the original compass to the reverse of this Royal Marines die struck brass cap badge with two original lugs to the reverse. Escape compass fits perfectly into the globe, but needs to be retained in place with tape or the like. Red spot inside compass indicates north and this is still fully functional and accurate, with no damage to glass. Scarce. read more

The King's Own Royal Border Regiment was an infantry regiment of the British Army in existence from 1959 until 2006, and was part of the King's Division.
