Has been worn but in very good condition with no missing fiddly bits, with slider stamped JR Gaunt, London and then again on the back of the badge.
The Wessex Brigade comprised Devonshire & Dorset Regiment, Gloucestershire Regiment, Royal Hampshire Regiment, Royal Berkshire Regiment and Wiltshire Regiment.

The Royal Scots (Lothian Regiment) Other Ranks Bi-metal Cap Badge on Tartan Cloth Backing
In good condition with two original loops to the reverse. A square of the correct Royal Stuart tartan, but this is quite thin and not as heavy as the other tartan badge backings listed. Came with badge and removed from display board.

In very good condition with sharp detail and two original loops to the reverse. The correct pattern of Douglas Tartan. The cloth square is of a heavy tartan cloth and came with the badge when removed from a display board.

WW2 The Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment) White Metal Glengarry Badge with Orginal Tartan Cloth Backing
This pattern, as worn from 1934 until 1952, without the scrolls. Lacessit spelling on motto. Kings crown. With two original loops to the reverse (bent inwards) and mounted on an original square of thick tartan cloth of the 42nd General Pattern. Tartan cloth came with badge as removed from a display board. Badge in excellent condition with sharp detail.

The Gordon Highlanders White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge with correct Tartan Backing
The BYDAND (rather than BY DAND) variety of the motto scroll with two original lugs to the reverse. In very good condition with sharp detail and with no damage to the antlers. The tartan is a thick square piece of the distinctive Gordon Tartan Cloth and came with the badge from a display board.
