A small an unusual badge, worn on the front corded boss and as a side badge on the Rifles Astrakhan hat and unique to the 4/5th Royal Scots (TA) - Queen's Own Edinburgh Rifles. Die struck in bronze with two copper metal prongs for attachment to the hat / cord, circa 26mm tall and 24mm wide. See final photo for it being worn.

Good, rare white metal Victorian pouch badge with two original long screw posts to reverse. Worn on the grey uniform prior to 1877. Comprising the coat of arms of Southampton. Measures 45mm x 57mm. Ref Woods Book 2 p52 item 3.24. Sadly one flag at the top of the mast on the left is missing, but does not detract greatly as it is a rare item. Sold as seen.

As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seven flames with two original toned loops to the reverse. Circa 4.1cms tall. Lovely item. Circa 1860 - 1902. One sees the larger ten and fourteen flame versions much more often. There is also a Grenadier Guards style pattern with 17 flames but in white metal.
