WW1 2nd Battalion ( Territorial Force ) The Monmouthshire Regiment Brass Cap Badge - Woodward

A scarce brass cap badge for this territorial regiment as worn from 1908 to 1922. In good condition with some slight polishing to the highpoints with original slider maker marked " F. E. Woodward Bham " (correct naming style). The tail does not have the distinctive arrow-head tail, but the hint of one, either this pattern did not have one or it has sadly been broken off. Honourable Artillery Company Infantry Other Ranks Nickel plated Brass Cap Badge - Coronation 1953 version

A nickel white metal plated brass cap badge with original slider to the reverse. I understand that these were changed from brass to white metal specifically for the Queen Elizabeth II's coronation in 1953, and white metal patterns were issued in 1954 onwards. Circa 5.5cm tall. Some wear to plating.

Honourable Artillery Company ( HAC ) Infantry Warrant Officers & Sergeants Bi- Metal Cap Badge

A two construction brass grenade with two original loops to the reverse with HAC superimposed in white metal on the ball of the grenade as worn by Warrant Officers and Sergeants of the Infantry Battalion until 1954, when the colours were reversed. Scarce.

A one piece die struck glengarry badge with a Victorian crown above and three original lugs to the reverse. A couple of small solder blobs to strengthen the Britannia insert, and a couple of small service scrapes to the front otherwise in very good condition.

33rd ( Ardwick ) Lancashire Volunteer Rifles NCOs Pouch Belt Plate

An attractive and scarce sergeant 's blackened die struck pouch belt plate with three original screw posts to the reverse. Some light rippling from wear and a small but very neat repair to the small square at the top of the crown which has been neatly re-affixed. Does not detract. Worn 1860 - 1880.

Curved to shape, large pattern ((not the smaller beret badge version) fixed wheel with original slider to the reverse. Some polishing to detail on high points otherwise in good condition and not that easy to come by. King ' s crown as worn from 1902 on the forage cap.
