As worn for a short period only from 1905 onwards. Two die struck collar badges, good match from front, slightly different shape to loops on the reverse when compared to the other. Loops present and original. Good sharp detail. This pattern with the rose the correct way up. Scarce.

A die struck nickel plated fronted metal cap badge with two original long copper lugs (bent inwards) to the reverse. Some minor staining and touches of verdigris otherwise in good overall condition. This pattern worn from 1908 - 1939. This is the scarcer "Lacesset" spelling version.

As worn on the pill box or peaked cap by many Volunteer Artillery Other Ranks across the Kingdom, a white metal grenade with seventeen flames (Grenadier Guards pattern but in white metal) with two original toned loops to the reverse, slightly squashed down but still functional. Circa 4.5cms tall. Lovely item. Circa 1860 - 1902.

Highland Light Infantry (Territorial Battalion) White Metal Glengarry Cap Badge - South Africa Scroll
A white metal example, die struck with two original loops to the reverse (one fractured and squashed). Apparently worn by the Territorial Force 6th Battalion of the Regiment post 1908 as it has the scroll "South Africa 1900-2" scroll, although K&K attributes it to the 5th, 7th and 8th Battalions.

A die struck blackened brass example, with three original screwposts and retaining its original nuts with washers to reverse (one nut with damage but still functional). Some slight wear to black finish on the highpoints of the "Wee Jimmy" otherwise in very good condition and rare. Worn 1860 - 1884. Circa 7.1cms tall and 7cms wide.

Die stamped in bronzed gilding metal, correctly and contemporaneously painted black as was often the case with other ranks of this volunteer battalion.
