A stunning matched pair, of two part construction, die cast in bronze with unvoided centre and silver plated attached cross and the Rutland horseshoe. Each stamped 'P' to the reverse for the silver plate attachments, and each with two original loops to the reverse. In unissued condition.

In superb condition, die struck in white metal with sharp detail and two original D style loops to the reverse. An earlier pattern as this has 2 loops as opposed to a single lug fitting. This pattern was worn from 1897 until 1960.

WW1 South Staffordshire Regiment Bronze OSD Cap / Collar Badge
Kings crown officer's die cast bronze service dress cap / collar badge with two original loops to the reverse. In very good condition with only minor wear to bronze finish. The large collar was discarded by the 1st Battalion in favour of the simple knot badge by 1918 although the 2nd Battalion persisted with the large collar as depicted here for a few more years.
