Scarlet tunic with gosling green facings, white metal collar badges and king's crown buttons. The 4th Battalion previously wore grey tunics from but by 1910 the scarlet jacket, with gosling green facings was being introduced of which this is one. An officer's red sash with tassels, embroidered neatly to the inside with the owners name, E.W.N. Wade M.C. In good overall condition.

Grenadier Guards White Horsehair Bearskin Plume
A plume for wear on the bearskin, good fat plume with an internal central metal hook on the inside for attachment to the side of the bearskin. Other ranks issue. Circa 18.3cms tall and 7.5cms wide. Presumably horse hair. In very good condition.

British Army Officers 1881-1901 Levee Dress Waist Belt Clasp and Belt
Made from red / crimson leather with gilt lace with central red/crimson line and gilded fittings. Gilt buckle with silver lion over crown. The belt buckle is in silver and gilt with a Victorian crown and with gilt fittings. Some slight marks to gilt on either side of the crown otherwise in superb condition.
