Ceylon Light Infantry (CLI) Officers Pair of Silver Collar Badges

A scarce pair of silver die cast collar badges of the CLI with two original silver loops to the reverse of each (slightly different shape, the hallmarked one possibly also for wear the Field Service / Side Cap). Circa 2.5cms tall. Makers mark for what looks like G&S Co Ltd and Birmingham assay marks for date letter J (1933) on one. Clearly a pair, but it is often found that only one is hallmarked.

Renfrew et al Vol 2 No 2151 refers (but in silver).
